ILGA Asia
ILGA Asia, the Asian Region of the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, and Intersex Association (ILGA World), represents over 100 member organizations across numerous Asian countries, advocating for the human rights of LGBTI individuals. Established as part of ILGA World, which has been active since 1978 and holds consultative status at the UN ECOSOC Council, ILGA Asia focuses on promoting respect for human rights and eliminating discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, and sex characteristics (SOGIESC).
