Propose a session

Image of LGBTQI advocates in a group discussion during the ILGA Asia Conference 2022

Proposals are an opportunity to suggest a topic, format and presenters for an engaging session.

Priority will be given to proposals that address:

  • Advance equality and freedom in Asia through collaboration with allies from other sectors and social movements

  • Sharing of best practices in engaging allies for the advancement of LGBTIQ rights and issues

  • Emerging alliances LGBTIQ communities with allies in other sectors and social movements, or identified barriers in LGBTIQ human rights work in Asia

Proposals should conform to our thematic focuses. Priority will be given to proposals that address the 6 Thematic Focuses. The session proposal applications was closed last 16 July 2024 (23:59 GMT+7). Applicants will be notified of the result by 25 September 2024.

Successful session proposals do not guarantee scholarship awards to attend the conference. Approval of your session does not come with sponsorship to the conference.
